PH value of sodium silicate

Sodium silicate is a weak acid and strong alkali salt, which is white or gray-white lump or powder in dry state. When dissolved in water, the appearance of pure sodium glass is colorless viscous liquid, and the pH value is 11-13.
The pH value of ammonia water is usually between 11 and 12, while the pH value of baking soda is lower. Therefore, in most cases, the alkalinity of sodium silicate is stronger than ammonia water and baking soda, and sodium silicate is a substance with strong alkalinity.
